ISO/IEC 17065 Accreditation for Product Certification Agencies
Product certification verifies that a product, process, or service meets the requirements of established international standards. The accreditation requirements are defined in ISO/IEC 17065 – Conformity Assessment: Requirements for Bodies Certifying Products, Processes, and Services. Owners of product certification schemes—including industry associations, regulatory authorities, and conformity assessment bodies—can apply to ASIB for accreditation of either public or private schemes.
